Make the width of your window as small as possible and slowly expand the width, the ring should pulse different colors.
Start large screen as the square and work your way down!
Extra: As you work your way down, make sure to click on all the different shapes to watch them change!
Loved working on this project!
Please make the screen as wide as possible without maximizing it.
Then shrink the window in small increments. Thank you!
This is an abstract movement that represents the notion of sunrise.
“The Wu Xing, (五行 wŭ xíng) also known as the Five Elements, Five Phases, the Five Agents, the Five Movements, Five Processes, and the Five Steps/Stages, is a fivefold conceptual scheme that many traditional Chinese fields used to explain a wide array of phenomena, from cosmic cycles to the interaction between internal organs, and from the succession of political regimes to the properties of medicinal drugs. The “Five Phases” are Wood (木 mù), Fire (火 huǒ), Earth (土 tǔ), Metal (金 jīn), and Water (水 shuǐ). This order of presentation is known as the “mutual generation” (xiangsheng 相生) sequence.”
The five circles in the full screen mode represent the five essential natural elements, metal, wood, water, fire and soil(earth).
The movement later on further explains how these elements work with each other as well as their relationships to the nature.
Among the patterns I created for the previous pattern assignment, I personally like the one with the flower pattern. So for this assignment I thought I would use that form again and transform it to represent different parts or stages of a flower: the seed; the petals; the pollens.
Make sure your windows is wider than 1150 pixels and then make it narrower to see the transformation!
